Made from advanced carbon steel with hardened spikes, these speaker stands provide superb mechanical damping of vibration while improving the dynamic attack and detailed resolution of any stand mount loudspeaker. The stylish Mission Stancette stands accommodate small standmount loudspeakers. The Mission Stancette are lightweight speaker stands that ideal for certain bookshelf speakers. If you find the sound a bit rich or too "slow" from your speakers, then give these stands a go. Their light weight helps to promote speed and agility of sound from your speakers. Spikes for the base not only protect your carpet and add stability but also add a level of mechanical isolation. Also, at the center column, the speaker cables can be hidden inside and come out from the bottom to make the hifi setup look not messy. Stand columns can be filled with a damping material like sand if required to improve the bass performance. In order to get the best sound out of your bookshelf loudspeakers, they should be mounted on dedicated speaker stands. This will prevent unwanted vibration and provide a stable platform to ensure the speaker sounds just as the designer intended.
