The Aragon 24K preamplifier is the convergence of art and engineering executed with elegant simplicity. It includes a phono section which has internal adjustments via small switches to adjust the phono section for accuracy with various cartridge loads. There are five additional line-level inputs, labeled Tuner, CD, Aux, Tape 1 and Tape 2 and two tape loops. It use an outboard power supply that is plugged into the wall socket, and the output of the power supply is plugged into the back of itself. No A/C power is provided to the Aragon 24K, because it has already been converted to 24V DC by the outboard power supply.
The Aragon 24K is characterized as a very authentic and musical reproduction with a exceptionally clear and transparent sound. It is unbiased and does not give extra power to different frequencies. It has a very balanced presentation with breathtaking power in its bass and silky highs. The sound is refined and detailed, projecting a realistic soundstage that animates the performance. It is smooth sounding, never harsh, and can be listened for hours with little listening fatigue.
