Description :
The Canor CD1 is a tube CD player noted for its perfect balance between convenience, workmanship, sound, and aesthetics. Its lush wooden front panel gives it deserved classic lines. The special tube circuit gives natural sound and great detail, and its construction is an exercise in logical design. This is an original design with a host of virtues that set it apart from the crowd. The stylish display has adjustable luminosity. In our CD-1 we use 2x 12AX7 (ECC83), 2x6922 (ECC88 equivalent) tubes and 1xEZ81 as a rectifier diode. As for the chipset, we use 24bit/192kHz Burr-Brown PCM1792A DAC, and the Philips L1210/65 transport mechanism. Precisely designed power supply assists the player to create a smooth, powerful, yet delicate sound. Exceptional timing generates a deep wide soundstage enabling to mediate an analogue realism to the listener. This already is a modern classic, with virtue and innovation at its heart.
