The ALR Jordan Note 7 as the bigger sister of the Note 3 and Note 5, plays music with absolutely ease. ALR Jordan is a long established and well-regarded loudspeaker manufacturer, based in north-west Germany. They have three ranges (Entry, Classic and Note series) to ideally suited for most requirements. The Note series is considerbly the top series of ALR Jordan. The Note 7 speakers have a high sensitivity of 92dB, which means low powered amplifiers can be used though I recommend higher power amplifiers for better performance. It plays music with apparent effortlessness and is capable of reproducing even the most difficult musical passages. The vividness of music reproduction is based on the homogenous teamwork of two aluminium bass chassis, which are augmented into a perfect unit with a mid-range chassis made from the same housing as well as a coated 25 mm fabric dome cap. A hand-wound and calibrated crossover of the highest value rewards one with distinguished musical reproduction. These speakers convince during the replay of full symphonies just as during reproduction of individual voices. A speaker that provides an excellent musical delight.
