Combined with it's matching Amp2 power amplifier, the verdict for this amp is that it's very fast; generally very musical. Soundstaging, upper-end treble, lower bass and volume are usually the first items to go with speakers. This time round they were all there, marking their presence with an unmistakably lively, airy feel to the music. Soundstaging was just about right, a comfortable area between in-your-face upfront and back-of-the-barn laidback. Produced by the same company of Mark Levinson, some say this brand is a more budget sister version to it's Mark Levinson bigger brother.
