Description :
The Sugden A48B integrated amplifier sounded more like involving music had lush midband which made female vocals breathtaking. Bass impact was deep and solid and strangely, even though the Sugden is around 55 watts seemed to exude a deeper bottom end. Sugden's designs have remained relatively consistant since the late 60s - with tweaks here and there...but when you do it right keeping the majority of the critical sound in class A you get 90%what higher end tube amps offer but you also get the full authority of the bottom end which tube amps sometimes fail to realistically produce.
