The Audiolab 8000A mkII an improvement from the 1st version, is smoother, more refined and has a better midrange. It provides a nicer, cleaner sound in this department, with crystal clear imaging and improved ambience. Jazz pieces are particularly commendable, coming across tight and crisp. It is very flexible integrated amp that can be even used as a preamp or power amp. There are bass and trebles controls to adjust with. It comes with an inbuilt phono amplifiers of MM and MC too.
