The Goodmans dB50 is a two-way loudspeakers system equipped with a 12 inch cone bass unit fitted with stainless steel centre diaphragm matched to a Halifax100 mid/high frequency pressure horn unit in a reflex enclosure of 50 litres. The system combines high efficiency with high power handling capacity, wide sound dispersion and a smart appearance which personally is suitable for use in permanent and semi permanent disco installation for hotels, restaurants and disco clubs. The high sensitivity of the dB50 and the popular sound gives it great appeal for reproducing popular music for parties and at home. Other applications include use by people in studios as stage monitors. The quality of the dB50 will only be heard at its best when driven by a suitable amplifier with a high quality input from microphone, disc player or tape recorder for a good rich sound. Positioning is critical for excellent sound dispersion. It is dynamic and plays music with vigor and intensity. Because only 200 sets of Goodmans dB50 are manufactured, it is a rare and valued loudspeaker, planting the vintage loudspeaker among the highly sought after targets from the collectors.
