The PS Audio Reference Link LS is introduced to the hi-fi market in 1993, built with top quality components to perform flawlessly for a life time. These were all carefully manufactured by hand in the Ultra Analog labs in San Francisco to ensure perfection. There are 3 levels in PS Audio's DAC production - Superlink(basic), Ultralink(mid) and Referencelink(top). The Reference Link is an impressive equipment that is basically Ultralink DAC on steroids with an inbuilt preamplifier. It is an amazing piece of engineering work, containing a full-on Ultra Analog D to C and Ultra Analog A to D converter. It sounds incredible and was the pinnacle of the 16 bit, 44.1kHz DACs in its day. The PS Audio Reference Link LS DAC is very flexible and has exceptionally good sound. The onboard volume control eliminates the need for a separate preamplifier. By integrating the PS Audio Reference Link LS DAC/Preamp with hi-fi sets will improve sound quality and reliability for a long period of time.
