Released in 2000, the Musical Fidelity A2 CD player has an impressively refined and cohesive sound quality produced with cutting edge technology. The A2 CD player is among the classiest looking and most elegant players in its price category. It has a gloss black fascia overall and its light touch switch controls are designed for ease of use. With specially selected mechanisms and printed circuit boards, the player exhibits top level sonic performance and consistency. Sophisticated low jitter reclocking circuit greatly enhances sound quality, imaging and tonality. The Class A output stage produces high quality and consistent sound, with great presence and authority. The A2 CD player's bitstream converter system improves sound quality with smoother response and lower distortion. The size has been tailored to the standard 440mm width to match the majority of alternative components. The edit function allows easy taping of different tracks to best fit tape length. The tracks can be programmed to set them in any order the user prefers. The optical coaxial digital outputs enable connection of external digital to analogue converters or digital amplifiers. The Musical Fidelity A2 CD player has an infectious and euphonic charm, with more than adequate levels of details.
