The Naim Audio CD5i and its matching Nait 5i share an especially close bond and something magical happens every time they're used together. System synergy has always been an abiding principle at Naim. The synergy of the CD5i and Nait 5i working together is apparent from the first bar of the music. Whatever the user's musical tastes, these two will draw him into the performance. The equipment features zinc die-casting with aluminium extrusions and covers, which together result in a rigid case offering great immunity from the effects of external vibration. The CD5i's and Nait 5i's elegant and understated styling is matched by an experience that is uplifting if the music is uplifting, chilled if the music is chilled and never ever dull. Of course no system is complete without loudspeakers. When complemented with a pair of n-SAT speakers, the musical magic is complete. The Naim CD5i's and Nait 5i's construction and aesthetic are borrowed directly from the acclaimed 5 Series. The "i" series products are slightly more affordable than their non-"i" counterparts, and the "i" units are NOT upgradable with external power supplies. However unlike the CD5, the CD5i has the flexibility of having an extra set of RCA output which makes integration with existing systems easy. The CD5i is designed to be the best in its class, incorporating genuine technological advances to provide a thoroughly enjoyable musical experience.
