Description :
The NHT 2.3 loudspeaker is introduced in 1991-1992 which after that the NHT 2.3a replaces it from 1993 onwards. The 2.3 was one of NHT's initial products. The key trademark to the NHT sound is its acoustic suspension bass. Inside the Model 2.3 are two separate chambers. The midrange and high frequency drivers are housed in a sealed sub-enclosure and are located on a narrow front baffle to improve imaging. The 2 x 6-inch long-throw drivers are housed in a separate vented enclosure for consistent bass loading. The Model 2.3 represents a unique approach to 3-way loudspeaker design. By integrating the components and design principles of NHT's critically acclaimed compact speakers with a built-in subwoofer, the 2.3 delivers the clarity and precision of 2-way designs along with the dynamic range of much larger loudspeaker systems. Incorporating NHT's proprietary Focused Image Geometry design, the NHT 2.3's custom-designed drivers and enclosure achieve a level of tonal neutrality and imaging precision unsurpassed at the price.
