The Wadia 23 CD player was the model that really started it all for Wadia in the 90's with a very high esteemed reputation. Using the Stable Platter-based design, Wadia could extract such excellent sound quality - much quiet background when playing. Very well constructed, incredible big soundstage with a lot of presence in the mids. Excellent matching for tubes. The sound is rewarded with lots of detail and dynamics. The player is the absolute opposite of dull. The Wadia 23 is a fantastic player in order to age, technology and entry level model.
